Research Interests and Activities

I am working on theoretical nuclear structure physics from a mean-field point of view.

Main Field Theoretical Nuclear Structure Physics.
Other Fields Many-body quantum mechanics. Finite Fermionic systems. Computational physics.
Activities Phenomena: structure of superheavy nuclei, collective excitations at low energy, coupling of collective and single-particle degrees of freedom, shape coexistence, shape mixing, rotational bands, nuclear shell structure and its evolution with neutron and proton number, pair correlations, large-amplitude collective motion, fission.
Frequently used tools: energy density functional methods, self-consistent mean-field models, Skyrme and other effective interactions, configuration mixing methods, generator coordinate method, symmetry restoration.
